Drawing on years of experience both local and overseas, Steven is regularly called on to develop practical and cost-effective civil engineering solutions to address complex projects for the public and private sectors.

His background particularly comes to the fore in earthworks and sediment control, stormwater management, civil infrastructure and contract management, and consent preparation.

Over more than 20 years in these fields, Steven’s skills cover the gamut of:
• civil and geotechnical engineering
• conceptual and detailed design
• risk mitigation and management
• option evaluation
• cost management
• construction.

At Riley, Steven manages teams of civil engineers on projects as diverse as public infrastructure works, commercial and residential developments on greenfield and brownfield sites, wind power generation schemes, and forensic assessments.

OUTSIDE WORK: Steven enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
