In over 25 years of consultancy experience, Steven has developed wide-ranging skills in engineering geology and geotechnical engineering.
His interest in seeking and rising to new challenges has also seen him progress through to management and governance in the consulting engineering sphere. Steven has been Managing Director since April 2022.
Steven has considerable expertise in engineering geological mapping, investigation analysis and interpretation, and stability assessment. He also has expertise in retaining wall design, foundation analysis and stability enhancement.
Particular areas of interest include:
• quarry and mine batter stability assessment and design
• resource assessment
• forensic assessment
• coastal cliff stability protection measures
• key client liaison.
Steven also prepares and presents evidence at the Environment Court, High Court and resource consent public hearings.
OUTSIDE WORK: Steven enjoys taking part in motorsport (both four wheels and two), playing football and board games, and raising his two children.
