Jacob Couprie

Jacob has more than 15 years’ experience in civil, geotechnical and water engineering design and construction, as well as project management. Within Riley he is recognized as a strong and supportive leader with a passion for mentoring and coaching younger staff.

His involvement in a wide range of engineering work includes:
• Assessment and design of canals and hydraulic infrastructure
• River training and protection works
• Retaining wall design and detailing
• Bridge and retaining wall inspection and repair
• Landslide assessment and repair
• Residential and commercial land development.

OUTSIDE WORK: Jacob can be found cycling, running or tackling building projects. He also enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with his family of boys.
