Scholarships
We award engineering scholarships annually through the universities of Auckland and Canterbury. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to engineering excellence.
Riley provides financial assistance with fees, and the chance for summer internships and part-time work throughout the term. This can lead to a graduate placement opportunity when you finish your degree.
Just like with our grads, we love giving scholarship students the chance for responsibility and a variety of work alongside a diverse team.
Summer internships
If you’re awarded a Riley scholarship, you have the opportunity for an internship over the summer. Sometimes we also open up internships to students without one of our scholarships.
We focus on creating meaningful and diverse work experiences for our Riley interns. You can expect to work with a variety of people and get involved in fieldwork, analysis, modelling and report writing.
You'll find out what it's like to work as an engineering consultant and get the chance to expand your professional network. At the end of the internship, we'll provide feedback and support your development.
We're also open to our interns continuing to work with us through the university year, part-time or in term breaks.
Internships often lead to graduate placement opportunities when your degree is completed.
We don't currently have any internship opportunities available. But if you'd like to register you interest, email us at recruitment@riley.co.nz with your CV and academic transcript.
