 RILEY TEAM

Eli Maynard, Leah King and Oscar Barrett-Garnier

 THE BRIEF

The principal objective of the feasibility study for the Northland Water Supply Utilisation Project (WSUP) is to develop storage reservoirs and conveyance solutions for two water schemes. One scheme is on the northern Poutu Peninsula in Kaipara, the other in the Kaikohe area.

The project aims to enhance community wellbeing and the productive potential of the region’s land and water resources, including support for new horticultural development.

 THE OUTCOME

As one of the main partners in a consortium-based project team, Riley worked to identify a series of reservoir locations. These sites would enable progressive scheme development to align with community needs for water evolving over time.
